One of Oahu’s Worst Roads Finally Gets a Facelift

Neighbors say the last time Kalaepaa Drive in Kalihi Valley was paved was in the 1960’s.  So when the road crews began their work this week, residents actually came out of their homes and started clapping.

The road has been a nightmare for residents which have been driving for the past 50 plus years.
