Our executive director Jon Young was interviewed for the article and provided information about the asphalt paving industry. Raymond Nii, Manager for Engineering at HAPI member Grace Pacific, LLC discussed their recent paving of Kalanianaole Highway project. The University of Hawaii’s research project on pavement treatments was also mentioned in the article. This project is a collaboration between the UH, HAPI members and the City’s Department of Facility Maintenance. Many other aspects of our industry are covered as well.
