Per a November 2020 UFGS update, Asphalt Lab Technicians (ALT), Quality Control Managers (QCM), and Paving Inspectors need to be certified to work on projects performed under UFGS Section 32 12 15.13. The ALT and QCM training workshops and exams were conducted in Hawaii in late October 2021. We had to make adjustments to meet the COVID restrictions. This meant having the training in an outdoor setting.
