Quality Paving Consultants was established to provide the Asphalt Pavement Industry with proven tools and best practices in order to build quality into the pavement through the entire construction process. With today’s economic conditions influencing funding for roadway construction, it is imperative that we as an industry provide a quality product for the end user, and be economical in the process.
Jarrett Welch is the owner of Quality Paving Consultants. With over fifteen years of quality management experience in the asphalt paving and construction business, he has become recognized as an expert and a leader in the industry. Jarrett is well versed in aggregates, mixture designs, production and placement of asphalt pavement and new technologies . During his career he has assisted in the development and implementation of specifications for Stone Matrix Asphalt, Warm Mix Asphalt, Porous Asphalt and Reclaimed Asphalt Shingles amongst others. Jarrett has written publications, and currently serves on many committee’s for the Transportation Research Board, National Center for Asphalt Technology, National Asphalt Pavement Association, and the Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association. Additionally, he speaks at conventions and workshops educating the industry on best practices, specification, and new technologies.
