Perpetual Pavement Award to HDOT
Congratulations to HDOT for being the recipient of the Asphalt Pavement Alliance (APA) Perpetual Pavement by Performance Award. Thanks to Kyle Suzuki (HDOT) for preparing the award application for Kokee Road (Rte 550, MP 6.72 to 8.72) in County of Kauai.
The APA developed the prestigious Perpetual Pavement awards to recognize long-life asphalt pavements in the United States. The judging of the applications was done by the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) at Auburn University. They carefully evaluated the project and determined that it exemplified the high standards set forth in the award criterion.

We hope to see you at future lunch meetings.
