This is the first session in a two-part webinar series on Porous Asphalt Pavements. In this session, we will discuss what makes up a porous asphalt pavement, how they work, and what they can and can’t do. Attendees will also be given guidance on mix design and proper construction techniques. PDHs will be offered with this webinar.

Speaker:  Kent Hansen, P.E.

Kent Hansen is Director of Engineering for the National Asphalt Pavement Association. He is the author of NAPA publication IS-131 Porous Asphalt Pavements for Stormwater Management and numerous magazine articles on the design, construction, and performance of porous asphalt pavement. He has presented many times at conferences and seminars over the past 10 years on the subject.
