Three construction companies are seeing most of the action as the City and County of Honolulu ramps up road repairs with the goal of averaging 300 lane miles per year.
The big winners, in addition to drivers, are Grace Pacific Corp., Road & Highway Builders LLC and Road Builders Corp., which, combined, have received almost 90 percent of the nearly $210 million in contracts.
