Attendees at Association of Pacific Ports (APP) 2017 Winter Conference on January 11-13 soaked up the Maui sun at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua and learned from experts on timely port industry issues and trends such as legal issues, public private partnerships, technological advancements, economic forecasts, and much more. The open “port report” forum allowed each port to talk about current issues. There was plenty of time to network with colleagues.
Our Executive Director Jon Young was invited to be a guest speaker. His presentation was an introduction the attendees to HAPI and a discussion on an industry trend – sustainability.
