In October 2021, HAPI arranged for the Lab Tech and QC Manager training and exam to be conducted on Oahu. If there is sufficient demand, we could bring the Paving Inspector training and exam to Oahu too. Please consider the following:
- Training and exam are 3.5 days.
- The event is scheduled for Tuesday, January 17, 2023, to Friday, January 20, 2023.
- Location: It will be conducted on Oahu, venue will be determined based on the number of attendees.
- Costs:
– If it were at AI Headquarters in Kentucky, it would be $1,540 plus travel costs.
– On Oahu, your anticipated cost will be no more than $4,000 per person based on ten people attending. If fifteen people attended, the cost would be around $2,700 per person. The cost would be further reduced if more than fifteen people sign-up but would not be lower than $1,540.
– If there is sufficient interest, those that expressed interest will be required to preregister during the first two weeks in October. There will be a $1,540 non-refundable deposit required (checks would be due by the end of October).
