On September 19, 2025, HAPI proudly participated in Castle High School’s annual Career Exposure Fair. The event brought together industry professionals and hundreds of students eager to explore future opportunities. At the HAPI booth, students learned how asphalt shapes Hawai‘i’s infrastructure and keeps communities connected.
The “Paving Train” activity was extremely popular at this years event with over 45 students giving it a try. Many students gathered in groups to learn about the road resurfacing process and the various pieces of equipment involved in an asphalt paving train. Mahalo to Castle High School for inviting us back to this great event. HAPI remains committed to inspiring the next generation and supporting workforce development in our community.
Up next on the HAPI outreach calendar, UH College of Engineering Career Fair on Friday, September 26, 2025. We hope to see you there!
