Working together with the Asphalt Institute, HAPI arranged for their Airfield Paving Clinic to come to Hawaii in July. This clinic provided focused and detailed guidance on constructing asphalt pavements for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) funded airfield pavement projects. Attendees learned about significant changes in the just released FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5370-10H (more typically known as the P-401 specification). Click here for presentations slides prepare by the Asphalt Institute about the changes.

The turnout for the clinic was excellent – about 65 people. This level of interest makes it feasible for HAPI to bring training workshops to Hawaii, saving everyone time and travel costs. HAPI will continue to seek opportunities for future workshops.
Please let us know if you have any training topics in mind!
