HAPI had the opportunity to place an ad in the August 2015 issue of Building Industry Hawaii magazine. The ad, found on the inside back cover, is an infographic showing the “3 Top Traits U.S. Drivers Want From Roads.” Click here to go to the online version of the magazine.
The Asphalt Pavement Alliance (APA) is a coalition of the Asphalt Institute (AI), the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA), and the State Asphalt Pavement Associations (SAPA). In 2014, the APA focused on deploying key industry messages before decision makers and the commuting community with the goal of making asphalt the pavement of choice. One of those messages was that drivers want well maintained, safe, and smooth roads. This message was delivered via an infographic (see below).

Peter Grass, President of the Asphalt Institute stated, “Asphalt pavements offer the affordability, ease of construction, ease of maintenance, and structural longevity necessary to meet public demands for smooth pavements with a high level of drivability.”
