Road construction work zones are inherently dangerous places. Occupational injuries and fatalities within a work zone often occur from two causes: internal construction vehicle traffic or external third-party vehicular intrusions. Hear from industry experts about ways to effectively train construction crews to recognize and minimize these hazards, as well as successful methods that have been used which can encourage DOTs to provide additional monetary resources that help provide a safer work zone.
